Michael Hooper will be able to face New Zealand in the Rugby Championship decider next week despite receiving a banned for striking Argentina fly-half Nicolas Sanchez last weekend.
The openside was cited for an incident on 59th minute and coped a one-week ban a result.
The Rugby Championship is having a week off ahead of the final round next week but the Wallabies must have seen the ban coming and Hooper was named on the bench for the Manly Marlins’ Shute Shield quarter-final on Saturday and will therefore serve his ban this week.
