Wasps today confirmed that the club will appeal against the three week ban given to No.8 Nathan Hughes at an RFU disciplinary hearing on Tuesday evening.
The club will appeal on the grounds that it was an accident and no foul play occurred.
Wasps have informed the RFU of their decision and the hearing will be on Friday next week.
