Scotland fly-half Finn Russell has been banned for two weeks for his challenge on Dan Biggar in the Six Nations clash against Wales on Sunday.
Appearing at a disciplinary hearing at Heathrow today, Russell was found guilty of committing an act of foul play which, in their opinion, merited a red card.
The sanction carried a three-week ban but given the player’s clean disciplinary record it was reduced to two meaning he’ll only miss next week’s game against Italy and will be free to play again on March 1.
