Saracens have closed the gap with Bath in the race for a home semi-final as they beat the West Country outfit 34-24 yesterday.
Chris Wyles’s try helped the North Londoners to a 11-3 lead at the break before a try from Jamie George made it 21-3 just after the restart.
Semesa Rokoduguni brought Bath back into the game but Chris Ashton delivered a fatal blow four minutes later with Sarries’ third try.
Olly Woodburn gave Bath hope of rescuing the losing bonus-point but Alex Goode slotted his fourth penalty of the game to deprive them of it and seal the win.
Wasps have made big strides towards a Premiership semi-final following a 37-6 thumping of Harlequins at the Ricoh Arena.
They scored four tries in total with Tom Varndell and Elliot Daly going over within two minutes of each other in the first half while two penalty tries secured the all-important bonus-points.
