Ben White has committed his long-term future to the Exeter Chiefs after putting pen to paper on a new deal with the Devon club.
Now into his fourth season at Sandy Park, the 31-year-old forward has amassed 84 appearances and scored 15 tries since his move from Cardiff Blues in 2011.
Australian-born White follows the lead of Gareth Steenson, Dave Lewis, Ben Moon, Carl Rimmer and Kai Horstmann in agreeing terms on a new deal in recent weeks.
“It’s good to get everything sorted so quickly,” he said. “It means I can focus on my game, go flat out at things and just crack into every game 100 per cent.”
“It was a pretty easy decision to stay. When Rob offered me the deal, I was more than happy to stay. The environment here at the Chiefs is fantastic, it’s a great bunch of boys to play alongside, and since I’ve arrived I’ve really improved as a player, so I was pretty happy to stick along those lines and keep improving.”
