Sale Sharks have been handed a double dose of good news with confirmation that loosehead Eifion Lewis-Roberts and centre Sam Tuitupou have both agreed new two year deals with the club.
“We are delighted that both Eifion and Sammy have agreed their new two year deals,” said Steve Diamond director of rugby.
“They are both great lads and key members of our squad and we are delighted they are staying on.
“Eifion is a Sale player through and through. He went to Toulon for one year and played virtually every game over there and he’s hardly missed a game for us in the two years since he came back.
“Fridge is a fantastic loyal lad, part of the culture, hard working and a destructive loosehead and we are thoroughly glad he’s agreed to stay.
“As regards Sammy, for me he’s the best close tackling number 12 in the country. So for him to agree for another two years is massive for us in my eyes.”
