Dan Cole could miss the Six Nations‘ opener against Wales on February 6 due to a foot injury.
The England tighthead spent most of 2014 recovering from a neck surgery but he made a successful return to action in November. He looked set to regain his Test spot next month but a foot injury may prevent him from doing so.
Fellow Leicester Tiger Manu Tuilagi is in the same predicament as he still recovers from the groin injury he suffered against Ulster in the Champions Cup.
“Manu and Coley are probably still end of the month at this point,” said Leicester Director of Rugby Richard Cockerill. “They may well be fit for it (Wales v England) but whether they will be match fit I don’t know. We will see.”
