Andy Goode scored a record 33 points to help Wasps beat London Irish 48-16 in the first match at their new Ricoh Arena home.
Playing in front of a Premiership record crowd of 28,254, the Coventry born fly-half became the highest point scorer in a Premiership game with one try, two conversions and eight penalties.
Joe Simpson, Elliot Daly and Andrea Masi also crossed to secure the try bonus-point and keep Wasps in the hunt for a play-offs finish after Geoff Cross had scored the Exiles only try in the first half.
