Wasps put a tormented week behind them yesterday beating Bath 29-22 at Adams Park.
In the aftermath of their imminent move to Coventry, rugby took centre stage again and the Men in Black put in a fine performance to beat the high-flying West Country outfit.
Adny Goode kicked 16 points from the tee against a Bath side that had, at one point early in the second-half, three men in the sin bin.
The third yellow card to Micky Young, who prevented Christian Wade from scoring, resulted in a penalty try for Wasps and two minutes later, winger Sailosi Tagicakibau went over under the post to see them lead 29-0 with 30 minutes left on the clock.
Bath rallied to salvaged the losing bonus-point scoring three tries through Jonathan Joseph, Young and David Sisi but Wasps end an eventful week with a fine win.
