Kyle Eastmond has been named Aviva Premiership Rugby Player of the Month for September.
The Bath centre, who has been in scintillating form in the five first game of the season for the West Country outfit, beat Saracens‘s Charlie Hodgson, Exeter pair Thomas Waldrom and Henry Slade and Northampton‘s George Pisi
“For more than a couple of years now we’ve been looking for England‘s long term solution at 12. The form of Kyle Eastmond through September could just have solved that quandary,” said Austin Healey.
“Kyle’s play has been mesmerising, consistent, powerful and above all great to watch. After the problems he had last season it is great to see him bounce back and play with a gleaming smile across his face.
“His ability to create opportunity for others and finish chances with pace on his own, stands him out as the clear winner of September’s Aviva Premiership Rugby Player of the Month.”
