Gloucester are still in the race to defend their Premiership Sevens title after winning their qualifying pool last night.
Playing in front of their home crowd at Kingsholm and fielding a team including Aled Thomas, Callum Bralley, Jacob Rowan and flyer Steph Reynolds, who was named the player of the round, the Cherry and Whites ended the evening undefeated with wins over Exeter (29-14), London Irish (17-10) and Bath (24-0).
With two successes of their own, the young London Irish side, coached by the newly appointed trio of Nick Kennedy, Declan Danaher and Paul Hodgson, will also be at The Stoop for the finals next Friday for the Series finals.
The Blues and the Dragons got out of the Welsh pool last week while the remaining four finalists will be known by tomorrow.
Northampton, Wasps, Saracens and Harlequins are in action at Franklin’s Gardens tonight with Newcastle, London Welsh, Sale and Leicester playing for the last two spots in Darlington tomorrow.
