Two tries from Niki Goneva helped Leicester come from behind to beat Newcastle 41-18 at Kingston Park.
The Falcons lead 10-3 after Noah Cato’s converted try but Owen Williams slotted two penalties and Goneva went over for his first try earn the Tigers a 14-13 half-time lead.
Falcons hooker Scott Lawson’s try answered two more Williams’ penalties but, at 20-18, Leicester took the game away with tries from Goneva, Thomas Waldrom and Pablo Matera.
This is the Champions’ fourth win on the bounce and they have overtaken Harlequins in the table to now sit in fourth place levelled on points with third-placed Bath.
