American Sevens star Carlin Isles has signed for the Glasgow Warriors.
In an attempt to represent the USA Eagles at the World Cup in England next year, the fastest man in rugby will link up with the Scottish side next week once his visa is cleared.
Discussions are ongoing between the Warriors and the USA federation to decide whether he will take part in the remainder of the HSBC World Sevens Series.
“Carlin wants to play in the World Cup next year and Glasgow is the best environment for him to achieve his dream,” said his agent Tom Beattie.
“He’s very much looking forward to work with Chris Paterson as well as playing alongside Stuart Hogg who he watches a lot.
“He’s very thankful to the USA federation for allowing him to pursue his dream.”
