Scotland and British & Irish Lions Scrum Half Chris Cusiter will be playing for the Sale Sharks next season signing a two-year deal.
Chris, who is currently playing for Glasgow, will come as a replacement for Welshman Dwayne Peel who is on his way to Bristol.
Cusiter started his professional career with Border Reivers in 2003 and then moved to Perpignan in 2007 before joining the Warriors in 2009.
Capped 66 times by Scotland, Chris also toured with the 2005 British & Irish Lions, gaining one cap.
He said: “It was a big deal for me coming coming back to Scotland and I’ve had a fantastic time at Glasgow.
“Not many players get the opportunity to play in the Top 14, RaboDirect PRO12 and Aviva Premiership, so I’m excited about that.”
Director of Rugby Steve Diamond said: “Chris is a great signing for the club. We have signed him to replace Dwayne Peel who is leaving us after six years at the club and we know that Chris will be the quality replacement we need
“A lot of credit for the signing must go to Bryan Redpath who knows Chris well. Chris will join us in the close season and we look forward to him arriving.”
Glasgow Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend said: “He’s had a great season after almost a year out through injury and it’s good to see him back playing again.
“I’m sure he’ll do well in the Premiership and we wish him all the best when he leaves us in the summer.
“Chris has still got a big part to play this season, with some some big games left for Scotland and the Warriors.”
