Neil Fissler revealed it exclusively back on December 22 but Bath today confirmed the arrival of Sale Sharks prop Henry Thomas next season.
The 22-year-old tighthead was recently named in Stuart Lancaster‘s squad for the RBS 6 Nations, having made his England debut in Argentina last summer. Educated at the prestigious Millfield School, he then moved to the Sharks where he has made over 50 Premiership appearances.
He said: “I’m really excited to be moving to Bath next season. They’re a club clearly on the rise, with a lot of ambition. They also have a very strong pack, excellent coaches and a top squad, so I can’t wait to get started there.”
The West Country side also announced the arrival of former England U20s loosehead Nick Auterac from Saracens.
Bath Forwards Coach Neal Hatley added: “Henry and Nick are exceptionally talented, and they have a lot of potential as young players to get even better. They are enthusiastic about learning and improving, which really fits the culture we’re building here at Bath. We’re very much looking forward to them joining the squad.”
