Jamie Gibson scored a try on the last play of the game as Leicester salvaged a 27-27 draw against Bath at Welford road yesterday.
Trailing by five points, the Tigers showed great patience in the last passage of play to sent the flanker, who was outstanding all game, over but Welshman Owen Williams missed the match-winning conversion from the touchline.
Miles Benjamin put the home side in front early but two stunning tries in three minutes from Anthony Watson and Francois Louw put Bath 14-8 up.
After two penalties each by Williams and George Ford the West Country side lead 20-14 at the break before Jonathan Joseph made it 27-17 ten minutes into the second half.
The Tigers reacted and first reduced the gap through replacement Thomas Waldrom before one last push saw Gibson going over to share the spoils.
Bath remain third in the Aviva Premiership table while Leicester Tigers are just outside the top four in fifth position.
