John Afoa will be playing in the Aviva Premiership next season after signing a long term deal with an undisclosed English club, believed to be Gloucester.
Ulster revealed today that the former All Black tight head will leave the Irish province at the end of this season.
The 30-year-old joined Ulster just over two years ago from the Auckland Blues and has since made 48 appearances for the 2012 Heineken Cup finalists.
He said: “It is good to have my long term future sorted out, however I still have a lot of rugby to play with Ulster. I have six months remaining on my contract with the Province and I am focused on helping the guys win something this season.
“When I finish my career, I will reflect on my time at Ravenhill with a lot of pride.”
