Joel Tomkins to earn first England cap against Australia

Joel TomkinsJoel Tomkins will earn his first England Test cap against Australia at Twickenham on Saturday after being named at outside centre.
The Saracens centre will partner Billy Twelvetrees in the midfield while his club teammate and London Irish wing Marland Yarde, who both won their first caps in Argentina in June also start at No.8 and wing.
Northampton -half Lee Dickson is rewarded for his superb form of late and partners at halfback.
Following a stunning display against Gloucester last weekend in the West Country derby, Bath lock Dave Atwood has been named on the bench as Joe Launchbury and Courtney Lawes start in the engine room.
There is an all British & Irish front row with , Tom Youngs and , a fourth victorious Lion is on the bench in Ben Youngs.
England Head Coach said: “I'm delighted for Joel. He has had a great week's training and is ready for his chance. He has played in many high-profile games in his career so far and has a great temperament for the big occasion.
“Billy Vunipola and Marland Yarde made a big impression in Argentina and it's going to be a special occasion for them to run out at Twickenham in front of 82,000 passionate supporters for the first time.
“We are looking forward to the challenge of playing – they have made great strides under Ewen McKenzie and their new coaching team and they are formidable opponents.
“It's eight months since we played at our home and we are looking forward to getting back there for the QBE Internationals and what is a very important series for us two years out from the World Cup.”
