England have played well in recent international tournaments, but as everyone knows, it’s easy to get the team ‘up for it’ at a World Cup or a Six Nations, but much more of a challenge to keep up the performances over years and months.
Eddie Jones did a phenomenal job of turning around the morale of the team and making it England amongst the best rugby teams in the world, and after the successes of last year, he continues to push the players to stay at the top of their game – and he does this by playing against new teams, and also bringing in new blood to keep all his current champions on their toes.
With a tour of Argentina planned in June, Eddie Jones is planning on keeping the team busy and exposing them to different challenges until the next major tournament comes up. Jones is confident that the squad will be able to make use of the opportunity to play against Argentina and win against them. This is the team that also played in the RBS 6 Nations and excelled admirably, and already have thousands of fans trying to buy tikets to their games through this link – with the Autumn interationals already sold out!
This includes props like Harry Williams (Exeter Chiefs) and Will Collier (Harlequins), as well as the likes of Nick Isiekwe (Saracens) who plays second row, Sam Underhill (Bath) in the back row forward team as well as Tom and Ben Curry, brothers who hail from Sale Sharks. The backs being brought up include Jack Maunder (Exeter Chiefs) along with Piers Francis of the fly half position (Northampton Saints), Alex Lozowski (Saracens) and Harry Mallinder (Northampton Saints) among others.
They will also be joined by Denny Solomona, who is formerly represented Somoa, who stated that he would love to commit his future to England and do hisvery best he can for the team and Eddie Jones. His performances for Sale Sharks this season – he scored about 11 tries in the first thirteen matches he played – have seen him become one of the most sought-after players in the Premiership and, having completed his three year residency requirements, he was selected by England, and should do very well.
