James Linegar stepped up with ice in his veins to slot a match winning conversion from out wide against Wales in the U18s Six Nations Festival earlier this year and hopes his deadeye goal kicking can earn him first team opportunities with Bath in the short-term.
George Knowles’ try got England within a point of Wales before Linegar nailed his conversion with the clock in the red to clinch a dramatic 36-35 victory. England went on to secure three wins from three across the competition in Italy against Scotland, Georgia and Wales.
