Young Guns: Northampton scrum-half Archie McParland

Under the close guidance of Will Parkin, Archie McParland has made the transition from fly-half to scrum-half and is reaping the rewards with Northampton.
The 18-year-old has enjoyed a sensational breakthrough season at Saints, playing in all five of the club’s Premiership Cup pool stage matches before making his Premiership bows off the bench in the opening two rounds.
McParland touched down for a try in a victory over Cambridge before later scoring a hat-trick against Doncaster Knights.
