Young Guns: Cardiff Met hooker Aneurin Jenkins

Having starred in the Welsh Championship last season, Aneurin Jenkins is hoping to break into the Cardiff Met University first team and go on to play for Wales U20s. 

The 19-year-old hooker was part of Pontypool’s ‘invincible’ season as Jenkins helped the Dragons feeder team return to the Welsh Premiership.
Jenkins made five starts in his 10 appearances throughout the campaign and while he would have liked more game time, he recognises it was a valuable learning experience.
