I can’t see how a single action can cover it all

Lawyers and the legal system move in mysterious ways but as a layman it’s difficult to understand how the law firm Rylands Garth hopes to have the nearly 300 cases of alleged negligence brought by former rugby players against their respective Unions heard as a single action.
As discussed two weeks ago, every brain is unique and every case of brain damage and its neurological consequences is different in some respect, but then you have to factor in the very different rugby experiences of those who are confirmed as being claimants.
Some such as Paul Ringer haven’t played Test rugby since 1980...
