IT’S BEEN a bittersweet roller coaster five or six years for Spanish rugby but their success last week in winning the World U20 Trophy in Kenya would appear to be an untarnished triumph and offers much hope for the future.
The young Spaniards beat Uruguay 39-32 in one of the best and most entertaining contests I have seen in the last 12 months at any level in a competition where the standard goes from strength to strength.
