The greatest national schools team ever? That debate kicked off on Twitter recently and my mind immediately went back 30 years to 1993 and interviewing a shell-shocked Phil Greening, who had just returned from captaining England schools on their New Zealand tour.
The New Zealand schools team that year read: Christian Cullen; Karl Tenana, George Laupepe, Pita Alatini, Brad Fleming; Carlos Spencer, Scott Hansen; Carl Hoeft, Anton Oliver, Kees Meeuws, Royce Willis, Christian Davies, Duncan Blakie, Isitolo Maka, Jonah Lomu.
