Where to start with Antoine Dupont’s extraordinary try saving tackle on Ireland wing Mack Hansen at the Aviva?
It goes straight in as joint top of my list of all-time try saving tackles which I have updated and refined over the years – see below – but, more than that, it was one of the most jaw dropping moments imaginable. Physically, physiologically, scientifically and intuitively it should not have been possible. What Dupont did was extra-terrestrial, not of this world.
