I will leave it to others to do the heavy lifting in dissecting the sacking of Eddie Jones but here’s a couple of random thoughts to mull over.
First, at final knockings he got a tad unlucky with the exact chronology of events although such is life. His England tenure came under the most severe examination at the exact moment when the England cricket team were closing in on arguably their most sensational ever Test win.
