Even though it was a while ago since I took my cycling proficiency test, I’m pretty sure there was a rule about how far away from the roadside kerb you should be when on a bike. The majority of cyclists these days seem to have a blatant disregard for this and wander into the middle of the road thinking they boss it. Also, it really winds me up when they cut in front of you at traffic lights. Thankfully, there aren’t really any cyclists at the Chiefs. Phil Dollman went through a phase of cycling to work but that only lasted about a week.
TRP verdict: Who are we to put a spoke in your wheels?
2. Tax
I’m sure that most people would love life without tax for obvious reasons. It’s kind of deflating when you get given your money in one hand (wages) and it’s taken away by the other (income tax). To make it worse you never really get to see what your hard-earned cash is being spent on. We’ve been living in our new house for the best part of a month now and the recycled rubbish has yet to be taken away.
TRP verdict: Don’t worry you’re not going to be short-changed with this one; it’s Room 101 all the way.
3. Scrums
No great shock that a winger has nominated scrums! With the way they are refereed at the moment the scrum is used to either get a penalty or just ends up in reset after reset. The ball would be in play so much more if we didn’t have scrums. People pay good money to see people running around the pitch and showing off their skills not forwards collapsing in an unfathomable heap.
TRP verdict: Fat chance … that’s all we’ve got to say on the matter.
