This is an essential practice for any player but it doesn’t stop it being a complete pain in the butt! The ice pack to the back of the neck is particularly annoying when you go to meet family and friends after a game. Invariably some of the ice melts and dribbles down the back of your neck leaving your shirt damp. Nice! Also, I could think of better ways of spending my time than sitting in an ice bath for 3-4 minutes. Give me a nice massage any day!
TRP verdict: Everyone needs time to chill but we get your point. You’re off to a good start.
2.Throw Cushions
You can’t move for them in my sister’s house. Presumably they are very fashionable but I’d rather sit on a sofa without having to move several items first. In my mind they are completely pointless. They don’t look particularly good, which I presume is the idea behind them, when they are wedged under the arm of the sofa or tossed to one side.
TRP verdict: That’s pillow/cushion fighting talk … and quite right too. That’s 2 out of 2
3.Inconsiderate Drivers
There are very few passing places on the country lanes that go in and out of the little village I live in. Invariably you have to reverse back or move over to the side to let someone through which you’d like to think would be greeted with a simple hand gesture or nod or a flash of the lights as a way of acknowledgment. Common courtesy doesn’t cost anything after all. But, oh no, for some people that’s too much to ask! That really winds me up.
TRP verdict: You’re really motoring now, that’s the hat-trick.
