1. A poor cup of tea
Unlike a lot of my generation I like a good cup of tea, I think it comes from having four sisters and brother who drank tea quite a bit and I just jumped on the bandwagon. I like my tea fairly strong and with one or two sugars, depending on how I feel, but even to this day my Mum still can’t make it right. To be fair to her a cup of tea is a really individual thing when it comes to taste so it’s hard to make one for someone else. Even so, it’s annoying when you sit back in your favourite chair to relax with a cuppa in front of the TV and you have to get up and make another one that is drinkable. Despite being a proud Lancastrian I’ll happily admit that Yorkshire Tea is my product of choice.
TRP verdict: Drink up, it’s time to go into Room 101.
2. Bad drivers
Getting stuck behind someone doing 30 in a 40 mph zone breaks me, as do ‘middle lane hoggers’ on the motorway. Josh Beaumont is probably the worst driver for being overly- cautious in the Sale squad, especially now that he’s got a brand new Mercedes. If you want to get anywhere quick just catch a lift with Will Addison!
TRP verdict: You’ve got the green light again.
3. Making dinner
I’m in my first year living away from home and it’s a real pain having to make food for yourself when you’re already tired and hungry. With all the prep it just takes up too much time. Something that takes 5-10 minutes to eat normally takes about at least an hour to prepare and cook. I do a mean steak pie and chips but if I had the choice I’d rather have someone prepare it for me instead.
TRP verdict: After giving it some food for thought we’re pleased to say that’s 3 out of 3.
