– 1. Pre-match ref chat
Why is it necessary for the ref to come in and talk to the front rows about how he is going to ref the engagement of the and discuss with the scrum-halves about where he wants the ball to be tapped when a free kick or penalty is awarded? What makes this area of the game special over and above other areas? For me it is a total waste of time and should be stopped.
TRP verdict:  They wouldn’t like it if you went into their dressing room for a friendly pre-match chat, would they? You’re in
2. Well done steaks
I never thought I’d become a connoisseur of steaks (well, I know what I like) but what really hacks me off, now that our family owns a pub/restaurant (The Wheel & Compass), are customers who ask for steak to be cooked ‘well done’ (cremated) and then complain because the meat is tough. What they really mean is they struggle to chew it, especially our older customers who don’t have their own teeth any more. There should be a written law that all steaks must be cooked, at worst medium, if not medium rare. This way the meat can be chewed by everybody.
TRP verdict:  Next time if they get the hump about rump, tell them to order a T-moan or surly steak…As for , we’ll chew it over and get back to you.
3. Passwords
Whatever you seem to do these days it appears you have to have a password to access on an online account, get connected to Skype, etc. etc. Our lives are driven by the internet and, frustratingly, by passwords. It doesn’t matter who you seem to deal with now the aim is to have paperless transactions. I can live with this but remembering all the passwords to get into your individual accounts is a nightmare. Can this be simplified?
TRP verdict:  You’re not wrong! You’ve cracked the code to get into Room 101.
