Sam Warburton has recovered from his knee injury and will captain the British & Irish Lions against the Queensland Reds on Saturday.
The Welsh openside had to sit out the first two outings against the Barbarians and the Western force but he returns to the back row two weeks before the first Test against the Wallabies.
He will partner countrymen Dan Lydiate and Toby Faletau while Gethin Jenkins also recovered from injury and starts at loosehead.
There are also first starts in this tour for England‘s Ben and Tom Youngs, prop Matt Stevens and lock Geoff Parling.
Owen Farrell will have another chance to stake his claim for the No.10 jersey against a strong Reds side which includes Quade Cooper.
The Lions management are still waiting confirmation of the exact nature of Cian Healy’s ankle injury but the Irish prop could miss the rest of the tour if found guilty of biting Force scrum-half Brett Sheehan at a disciplinary hearing on Friday (12am BST).
