  2. Dream Team

1. Kyle Trainor – For a big bloke the prop is quite mobile and very skilful with ball in hand. A good guy, I played with him for Scotland ‘A’.
2. Ed Shervington – My old Warriors teammate had the best lineout stats in the Premiership last season for . The set-piece has always been his strength.
3. He’s like a back-rower around the park. His ability to turn the ball over in the tackle is brilliant and obviously his set-piece is outstanding to be the England tighthead.
4. Jim Hamilton – A great trainer who’s always positive on or off the pitch. Has had a lot of success for club and country, too.
5. Jonathan Thomas – Test experience with Wales and captain in his first season. Mainly a back-rower but he did a great job when he played lock last season.
6. Roddy Grant – He’s been ‘s most consistent performer for the past few years. It’s a mystery that he hasn’t been capped by Scotland.
7. Ross Rennie – He had to retire last year unfortunately but on his day he was one of the best opensides in Europe.
8. Kai Horstman – Able to play across the back-row and he has great hands. He’s been doing really well for since moving from Worcester a while back now.
9. Will Genia – Leave him half a gap and he’ll punish you in the blink of an eye. Playing against with Scotland, he was a nightmare to defend against.
10. Ryan Lamb – I’ve got to pick him purely based on his two last-minute kicks in both games against Bristol in the finals.
11. Tom Biggs – Lightning quick. One of the fastest I’ve played with or against. Not the biggest but more than makes up for it with his feet.
12. Anthony Allen – He used to do the basics exceptionally well. Should have had more caps for England. Such a shame he had to retire through injury so young.
13. There’s not many players like him around. He can create something out of nothing with his lethal mix of speed, power and skills. He’s also a very good defender.
14. Ben Howard – Probably the best player to come through the Worcester academy system. He’s played a lot last season and did really well. Can also play at full-back.
15. Chris Pennell – He was the stand-out player in both finals against Bristol and scored the winning try. He’s been great for the club in recent years. Anything good associated with the club, Chris has been a part of it.
