1. Nathan Catt – Best prank caller I’ve ever worked with and a very good friend. Moved from back-row to prop at 16 which is the reason I’m not at Bath today! 2. Lee Mears – First to help out the young guys coming through the club and someone I’ve always looked up to. 3. Aaron Jarvis – Adds weight to his side and to this day I have never seen a man polish off so many cookies in one sitting! 4. Roy Winters – A Bristol legend. He saved the club a fortune with his handyman skills. 5. Danny Grewcock – Real privilege to play alongside someone who I idolised as a kid. As a prop you would never go backwards with him behind you. Every prop’s dream. 6. Neil Best – Not the most natural footballer but with sheer hardwork carved out a very successful career. The most interesting character I’ve met and a shame to see him hang up his boots this season. 7. Guy Mercer – Loves a tackle and jackal, fires himself into everything – including fires! Poshest bloke I’ve ever played rugby with. 8. Mark Bright – The London Scottish captain scored 25 tries in one season. Been voted in the Championship Dream XV for the last four seasons. One of the most competitive blokes I know and also has the biggest nose I’ve ever seen. 9. Riki Tipuna – Extremely vocal scrum-half who has outrageous acceleration and knowledge of the game. I called pest control on my first day at Bristol as I thought there was a giant rat in the changing room, it was Riki. 10. Nicky Little – The Fijian magician has achieved so much over the years but is still one of the most down-to-earth blokes I have met. Would always stop in my dad’s pub for a quick beer after a match. 11. Tom Biggs – A strange individual who reminds me of Smeagol from Lord of the Rings. Absolute gas who knows how to finish off a try but boy has he got terrible hair. 12. John Palmer – Great reader of the game and has excellent distribution skills. Helped to bring many players through from the Bath academy. 13. Matt Banahan – The biggest hitter I’ve played with. He’s had a cracking season with Bath and hopefully we will see him back in an England shirt soon. 14. Nick Abendanon – The finest receding hair line in world rugby. He glides around players like they are not there and hits hard for a scrawny bloke! 15. Matt Perry – Very good leader and a rock under the high ball. Put on some serious weight since retiring and looks more like his father Brendan every day!
