2. Rhys Lawrence – An all-round dynamic player who can carry well and is uncompromising going forward. He will take a battering for the side.
3. Jason Hobson – Jason is good to have in your team, especially if there is any chance of a fight! His attitude and physical presence across the pitch can dig you out of holes at times.
4. Mariano Sambucetti – Another passionate player at Bristol who always gives 100 per cent in everything he does, both on and off the field. He gets through a hell of a shift and is another good carrier.
5. Roy Winters – Roy is the most professional player I have come across and just does everything well, even if he is a bit of a donkey! He is another guy who goes through a mountain of work.
6. Neil Mason – He is so strong and powerful carrying the ball – he could run through brick walls. Neil was probably the one player that I was not looking forward to playing against when I left Moseley.
7. Josh Ovens – Another extremely hard-working player. A dynamic and quick ball carrier who is good at the breakdown as well. He had a great season for us.
8. Ed Jackson – A great back rower who is quick and a good ball player, and could even play on the wing. He can score a lot of tries, sometimes out of nothing.
9. Gareth Cooper – A real threat with the ball in hand. A terrific professional – it’s no surprise he played so many times for Wales.
10. Carlos Spencer – He was a hero of mine growing up and it was a dream come true to play in the same team as him at Gloucester. He lived up to all the expectations I had.
11. Matt Williams – Matt is the quickest guy in rugby. No matter how hard you try, he is going to get to the try-line before you, whether it’s from ten metres out or 100 metres out.
12. Junior Fatialofa – He has great feet for a big man and does everything really well. Strong in the tackle and can run hard all day. Tough as nails and twice as sharp.
13. Henry Trinder – Still an exciting young prospect. He holds the line well and is really good on the outside break and has scored some pretty special tries.
14. Jonny May – He has incredible acceleration and can create a try-scoring chance out of nothing. He’s only going to get better with more experience.
15. Dan Norton –He’s playing Sevens now but even in 15s he is great at one-on-ones. One of the quickest guys I’ve ever played with and would certainly bring an attacking flair to the team.
