Jack Nowell’s French connection is set to go on for a few more years yet, after the Cornishman this week put pen to paper on a contract extension that will keep him at La Rochelle until 2027.
The 30-year-old made the switch across the English Channel at the start of this season, bringing to an end a 12-year association with Exeter Chiefs.
As one of several high-profile departures from Sandy Park last summer, Nowell and his family have settled well into their new surroundings, both on and off the field.
