ENGLAND flanker Lewis Ludlam will leave Northampton at the end of the season, with Toulon understood to be his destination.
The 28-year-old Saints captain, who has made 121 appearances for the club, turned down the offer of a new contract to remain with Saints. It is believed Ludlam was not offered an enhanced hybrid contract by the Rugby Football Union for next season – deals designed to help keep England players in the Premiership – as Maro Itoje and Jamie George were before committing to Saracens.
