Exeter Chiefs centre Henry Slade, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has had a meeting with Stade Francais about a potential switch to the Top 14 next summer.
Plymouth-born Slade who is 31 in March won the last of his 57 England caps in the first summer Test defeat against Wales in August before being dumped for the World Cup and was last week named in Steve Borthwick’s 36-player training squad for the Six Nations.
