Lyon are eyeing up a double raid on Sale Sharks to take their England and Lions stars Luke Cowan-Dickie and Jonny Hill across to the Top 14 this summer.
Lock Hill, below, played two Tests for England in their World Cup warm-ups despite missing out on Steve Borthwick’s final World Cup squad joined Sale at the start of last season from Exeter Chiefs.

The former Gloucester star’s potential departure is the reason why Alex Sanderson is so keen to bring Charlie Ewels to the north-west from Bath.
