Quins offer Care new contract

Danny Care has been offered the chance to extend his contract with Harlequins until after his 38th birthday with the club keen for him to play on beyond the end of the season.

Care, above, who will be 37 in two weeks, is Quins’ record appearance holder after joining the club from Leeds Tykes in 2006 and played in both of their Premiership final victories in 2012 and 2021. The 96-cap England No.9 is weighing up his options and is expected to give the club an answer early in the New Year.
