Gloucester are in talks to do a deal that will see them sign former Wasps fly-half Charlie Atkinson from Premiership rivals Leicester Tigers with immediate effect.
Atkinson, 22, moved to Welford Road in October 2022 after Wasps went out of business but has only started nine of the 27 games that he has played for the club.
Hendre Pollard is the first-choice fly-half, while Freddie Steward and veteran Mike Brown are ahead of him in the pecking order in his other position, full-back.
