Richard Cockerill will discover before Christmas if he is going to be the next coach of Georgia after his shock departure from Montpellier last weekend.
Former Leicester boss and England assistant coach Cockerill was fired by Bernard Laporte after only seven games at the helm of the Top 14 outfit.
He has emerged on a three-man shortlist for the job vacated by Levan Maisashvili, and a two-year deal is on the table to make a swift return to coaching. Blindside believes a decision will be made within a fortnight.
