Scotland and Lions star Rory Sutherland has joined Top 14 new boys Oyonnax, who have had a tough introduction to life in the French top flight, on a contract until the end of the season.
The Hawick native, 31, below, ended last season with Ulster on a short-term deal after Worcester went to the wall and linked up with Joe El-Abd’s side after Scotland’s World Cup campaign ended.
The ex-Edinburgh loosehead started against Tonga and then came off the bench against Romania and Ireland. He could make his debut at Toulon when the Top 14 resumes later this month.
