Cardiff Rugby could get a much-needed cash boost with the Arms Park being considered to host Joe Cordina’s IBF super-featherweight title defence next year.
Cordina played rugby for Rumney, Cardiff Schools, East Wales, and Cardiff Blues until he was 16 when he stopped to concentrate on boxing.
He is keen on a unification bout with Texan WBC super featherweight champion O’Shaquie Foster, and promoter Eddie Hearn wants the fight to go outdoors and has spoken to the Arms Park.
