Burns has his eye on media

ON THE BLINDSIDE

Freddie Burns says he would love to move into the media if he calls time on his career when his second spell with Toyota Shokki Shuttles ends in two years.
The former England fly-half is set to return to Japan later this year after agreeing on a deal to see him rejoin the Nagoya-based side at the end of the World Cup.
Burns, below, who will be 34 next May, says that he was close to quitting the game after leaving Bath three years ago and is now thinking about life after rugby. A career in the media appeals but he won’t rule out a move into coaching if a job is available.
