Bristol are believed to be showing an interest in former London Irish back Juan Martin Gonzalez Samoso, who is still a free agent after the demise of the West London side.
The 22-year-old Argentinean international moved to The Exiles in 2021 after the Jaguares pulled out of Super Rugby and started 22 of the 37 games he played for the club.
A host of Irish players have already been fixed up with new clubs, and veteran lock Api Ratuniyarawa is the latest after signing as a World Cup joker for Bayonne who will find themselves depleted in the second row.
