Freddie Burns has signed for Leicester Tigers ahead of 2021-22 Premiership season

Freddie Burns has revealed that he turned down the chance of another year with Leicester Tigers to return to Japan to rejoin Toyota Shokki later this year.
Blindside revealed last month that the former England fly-half, who played for the Highlanders in Super Rugby this year, would rejoin Shokki, where he spent a season in 2020 after leaving Bath.
Burns wanted the added protection of an extra season because of the uncertainty surrounding the club game in England.
