Gloucester are keen to get Savage

Gloucester have been linked with a move for their former star Tom Savage who has been playing in Japan with Suntory Sungoliath since leaving Kingsholm four years ago.
Essex-born Savage, below, made over 100 appearances for The Cherry and Whites before heading to Japan in 2019 and is wanted by George Skivington to act as World Cup cover at the start of next season.

He will be without Matias Alemanno, who will be in France with Argentina and is keen on Savage linking up with his squad until the tournament in France ends.
