Sale Sharks boss Alex Sanderson and head coach Paul Deacon were busy last week picking the brains of another North-West coach after spending the day at Wigan Warriors.
Sanderson and former Super League star Deacon were invited to watch the Warriors train at their Robin Park base by Matt Peet, who spent a year on the Sharks staff under Steve Diamond as Head of Performance.
The Warriors have strong links with Union, Wales defence coach Mike Forshaw saw their Easter win over St Helens, while Gloucester boss George Skivington was spotted at Wigan training earlier in the month.
