Former Wasps flyer Paolo Odogwu could finally ply his trade in the United Rugby Championship next season after last week becoming one of 13 players released by Top 14 side Stade Francais.
Coventry-born Odogwu, who has Nigerian and Italian heritage, was named in Eddie Jones’s 2021 Six Nations squad but never capped by England, allowing him to switch to Italy.
Italy boss Kieran Crowley named Odogwu in his World Cup training squad last month, which could open the door to him joining an Italian URC side after the tournament in France.
